Bear with Me… It’s Been a Rough Day

This is an unpublished version. The concept for this book uses rough sketches and finished art work to showcases the combination of a started and finished product for a whimsical vibe since the comic strip is witty and cute. The typography uses elements of a “hand drawn” font for titles and page numbers to mimic the artists process of creating his work. The color scheme uses the comic strips logo colors of a blue-purple and marigold as accent design which are featured on the chapter introduction spreads, end leaves and end paper and image flood color. I integrated the artists character concept of facial expression art for the endleave design- the font cover uses Bear and the back cover uses Molly.
