THE PSYCHEDELIC ROCK ART OF CARL LUNDGREN

The Psychedelic Rock Art of Carl Lundgren is a published life collection of rock posters from Detroit based artist, Carl Lundgren. The concept for the book is based around the Detroit rock scene in the 1960s and 1970s. I showcased large scale posters with accompanying photographs of the posters on display as if the shows were being promoted — I teamed up with my father and photographer, Richard Fisher for that content and Leni Sinclair, a well-know Detroit based Photographer, for photographs from the concerts. Additional content for this book includes a story section creatively told through various nostalgic items from the 60s and 70s, and samples of Lundgrens art for complimentary design elements. Special thanks to my mother, who is the hand model holding the guitar and part of the two man photography set crew for a bunch of photos!
